Challenging an International Arrest Warrant and Extradition Threat

A Mexican national reached out to our legal team after facing extortion by a European government, which subsequently issued an arrest warrant against them. Despite the absence of any charges for over nine years, the government froze the individual’s funds and threatened to disseminate the warrant internationally to facilitate possible extradition. The client was deeply concerned about their legal standing and the misuse of international legal mechanisms to target them unfairly.

The case required immediate action to address the international arrest warrant and the associated threats of extradition.
